Anonymisation before any external call
Before anything leaves the platform it passes through an anonymisation layer – names, emails and phones are replaced by a „Participant" placeholder. No identifiable personal data ever leaves the platform.
Employees access via token
No accounts, no passwords. Everyone gets a unique single-use link. The API never returns internal identifiers – IDOR protection is built into the API layer itself.
Auto-anonymisation after 2 years
Records older than 730 days are automatically anonymised. Right-to-be-forgotten requests are processed within 30 days, per GDPR Art. 17.
Hardened authentication, no compromises
Tokens travel only in the authorization header, never in URLs. Login rate limits, bcrypt password hashing, mandatory key rotation. Logs have PII redaction enabled by default.
Privacy mode for the admin dashboard
HR can blur names and emails across every list with one click. Demoing to directors, HRBPs or auditors – nobody sees who's who.
Data in the EU (PostgreSQL on Railway)
All database data is hosted in EU regions. External calls only use anonymised data. No data transfer outside the EU that would require standard contractual clauses.

From contract signing to employee links typically 3 business days. No IT involvement needed – a spreadsheet with names and emails, your logo and a brand hex code is enough.
No one on your side. HR only sees aggregated team metrics. Each employee receives their individual report and workbook. The Storyhouse team has access to raw data for support only, and only in anonymised form.
Diagnostic scores are computed internally on a validated scientific model (published psychometrics and behavioural science) – no identifiable personal data ever leaves the platform. For text styling of the report (language, tone) we use an external service, but every call is preceded by an anonymisation layer that replaces names, emails and phones with placeholders. From a GDPR perspective the external service is not a personal data processor. Full details are in the DPA.
Yes. Every company gets its own logo, colours and link domain (e.g. `company.storyhouse.me/xyz`). PDF reports and workbooks also carry your branding on request.
On the Q3 2026 roadmap. Today it's handled via CSV export from the client side. Not a blocker for pilot or early rollout.
The employee receives clear guidance in their report to contact a professional, plus crisis line contacts. HR gets an anonymised notification that X people in the team are high-risk, with recommendations for collective interventions (workshop, workload review).
We recommend 2× per year (spring and autumn quarters). That lets you see trends without overloading people. More often is possible, but response rates drop.
